Well, yesterday brought the expected ‘Red Fleece of Rejection’ from the Virgin London Marathon. I had entered the ballot but was unsuccessful.
That left a choice.
Either wait for a possible charity place for London or sign up to run in Edinburgh.
I choose Edinburgh.
So, I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon on 27th May 2012.
I’ve always wanted to run a marathon and my 40th year seems as good a time as any. I haven’t decided if I’m going to run for charity or not yet but I’ll let you know…
So, on with the training.
