Running a Half Marathon

I’ve decided to run the Great Scottish Run on 4th September 2011 in aid of Christian Aid.

The run is a half marathon (13miles and a bit) and I’ve got 21 weeks to get myself fit.

I’ll be keeping you updated on my progress and talking about the work of Christian Aid here on the blog and on Twitter using the hashtag #stewarts1/2marathon and on Facebook.

I’ll be using some tech to help with the training.  I’ve already been using Nike+ to log my runs but I like the look of Adidas’ miCoach which allows you to download training programmes to my iPhone which have in-run prompts and feedback for the training programme.  I’ll let you know which works out best.  I might use them both!
