It seems that social networking is not the only application for web 2.0!
Ewan McIntosh has been doing some interesting work around using blogs, podcasting and other web 2.0 stuff in teaching.
Ewan’s thing is modern languages teaching but I don’t see that any of his ideas are in any way limited to French, or even to teaching in a classroom environment. His edublogssite has some real gems and the podcasts are well worth a look for anyone interested in using new media with kids. The podcast on this page (or the script below it if reading is more your thing) is a good introduction to where he’s at.
