One of my goals for the year was to cycle more. I mostly cycle on the road and sometimes on tracks so a set of nobbly MTB tyres wasn’t really what I needed.
I finally got my new tyres for my bike the other day. I took Neil’s advice and got a set of Specialized Nimbus semi-slick tyres with armadillo anti-puncture stuff (basically kevlar inside the tyre).
I managed to get the old tyre off and put the new ones on without too much disaster, although the front ones were on the wrong way round but I just turned the wheel around!
That was last Tuesday… and I still haven’t been out on it yet! And it’s pouring. Again.
