This is my favourite photo from our trip. It’s not of anything special, just the corridor we lived in at Beit Gemal. But it sums up our trip for me… that there is light at the end of a dark tunnel. That the kids we worked with really are Hope in and for their community.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and photos from your trip. It sounds like it was a fantastic experience. It’s somewhere I’d like to visit one day but, like you, I think the significance lies less in the ‘historical’, interesting though it is, but in the continuing reality of faith today (and tomorrow).
Thanks John. It was an amazing 10 days. I think I’m only just starting to get my head around it. I’m sure there will be more thoughts but I can recommend a trip to the Holy Land, but if you go make sure you spend some time with some local Christians.
