There are days when you are reminded just how kind and generous people are and just how good the church is when it’s at its best.
This week I’m hosting a group of youth workers from our partner denomination, the Reformed Church of Hungary. They want to see different examples of youth work so I dusted off my contacts list and contacted some people to ask if we could visit.
All of them said yes.
Yesterday we were welcomed in three very different communities with big smiles and warm hearts. We spent time hearing about the amazing work going on with young people and some of the ways church is changing lives here and in some of the poorest places in the world.
A huge thanks to everyone we have met so far. You have been amazing.
