DEC Haiti

Following the devastating eathquake which is thought to have left 30-50,000 people dead and many more injured and homeless the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), a coalition of all of the major aid agencies in the UK, has launched an appeal to help with the recovery effort.

You can donate by visiting www.dec.org.uk.  You could also arrange for a collection in your workplace, school, college or university, church or social clubs.

If you have a blog, facebook or twitter please add a link to the appeal.

Looking for something to guide you through Lent?  Join Christian Aid on a virtual Pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

This isn’t about simply watching a story being told.  This journey is also about challenging ourselves to think, to reflect, to pray, and to take action.

So, I’ve found my thing to take up for Lent.  Why not join the journey?
