Akeld and Bamburgh

I’ve had a couple of days away in Akeld, just across the border in England.  It was great to get away for a while and to be outside rather than stuck at a desk!  Here are a couple of photos with more on flickr…

BBC Cuba Archive

I noticed on the BBC homepage they were highlighting their archieve material on Cuba.  The URC Synod of Scotland (my employers) have a link with the Reformed Church in Cuba and I’m hoping to visit there this year with a group of young adults.  Looks like some really interesting stuff.  Worth a look.

fly past

I was in the Lake District in England yesterday and today.  We had hoped to go climb a hill but the weather early this morning was foul so we ended up wandering around Keswick and taking photos.  All in all, a good day I think!  Here’s my favourite snap.  More on Flickr.
